I really didn't like Derrick Wyatt's take on MM; I really didn't like the giant moustache Lobo look nor the Prime body. But the Wreckgar body idea intrigues me. Did something quick to get an idea of what MM might look like in Animated. More of a mean brawler bully than a gangsta trucker.

Let me know if you guys think it works?

I think by taking out the mustache you've removed a lot of the personality and made it more mundane and conventional.

agreed. Mine has a mustache too, and it adds a lot of fun looks to the face. course, it is a non-boxy version of the bc one, so you know...

    D'oh...

Well he was clean-shaven in G1. I dunno, there's something really dopey about the use of moustaches in Animated. I'm not a fan of em (Apart from Wreckgar and the Super Huffer Twins where it makes sense)

    Why does it make sense?

I think what you mean is that the designs Wreck-Gar, Huffer and Pipes emulate originally had mustaches...

I mean, like em, don't like em, that's just a matter of preference. But you can't say one guy's 'stache makes sense and another's doesn't.

Well, you can say anything you LIKE, I don't mean to put it that way. But yeah.

Wreck-Gar is known for his moustache.
Huffer and Pipes are Super Mario Bros homages.

And Motormaster is based of a wrestler, many of which are known to have impressive mustaches.

Motormaster's mug is apparently based on Lemmy, from the band Motorhead (with an umlaut on the first "o" ). Motorhead=Motormaster. See what they did there?

Anyway, it's great to see that someone is going to make a Motormaster out of Wreck-Gar, though I politely disagree with your point on moustaches- I think moustaches are cool on robots- it gives them a bit of a personality! Also, by your definition, Motormaster's moustache would "make sense", as Lemmy has a moustache.
