http://www.thedenverchannel.com/irresistible/14592103/detail.html WASHINGTON -- A Washington, D.C., judge who lost his pants, then lost a lawsuit over the pants, has now lost his job. Officials in Washington decided not to reappoint Roy Pearson to his post as an administrative law judge in the city. He served for two years and his term expired in May. Officials revealed the decision in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from The Associated Press. Other news media reported the decision last month, citing sources. Pearson had taken a business called Custom Cleaners, owned by South Korean immigrants, to court earlier this year over a missing pair of pants, saying the cleaner didn't live up to his expectation of "Satisfaction Guaranteed." Pearson demanded repayment for the pants, as well as damages for inconvenience, mental anguish and attorney's fees for representing himself. The total he came up with was $67 million. He later lowered his request to $54 million, but he still lost the suit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nice to know there is still some 'justice' out there in the world! Ha Ha Ha!
He would have won if he hadn't forgot to mention the $50 million-dollar-bill that was in his pants when they were lost.
Got what he deserved. No one is going to give him ,millions of dollars for a pair of pants. He might have gotten 100 dollars. But not much more than that. Heck it wasn't even worth more than very small claims court.
I honestly didn't expect this outta DC. But I guess even they have their threshold for bullshit, and it's somewhere below this guy's behavior.
SWEET!!!!!!!!! I am soooo glad that douchebag is not getting his job back. He pretty much ruined his career for suing over a stupid pair of pants. And yes, he did judge this wrongly...
