Judge to Vonage - No new customers...

    The Judge also issued a $66 Million appeals bond, meaning that Vonage would need to pay $66 Million (possibly plus interest) if the appeal fails.

    Wow, that's big news. What about all the smaller voip companies out there? Voip is one of the better services to come out recently. I would hate for it to be monopolized.

    If they aren't infringing on Verizon patents, then they should be fine.

    I think what's really got them peeved is that as one of the articles stated, 1.1 million of the recent customers are former verizon customers... I'm hoping that Vonage wins. but from what the articles seem to indicate that the outlook is pretty damn bleak.

    Still a patent for how they BILL someone? Seems as vague as the "5 concentric Circles" Patent that the Olympics has.
