    Hey everyone,

I just picked up the three RID Train combiners (Takara version), but the seller says he's never transformed them out of train mode -- but doesn't have the missiles.

I wanted to know if the three transformers came with any parts-forming type pieces necessary for their gestalt mode. Can I transform them out of their train modes, and hook them up into combined glory?

I'm not sure of what the gift-set came with... missing missiles don't worry me - missing hip/shoulder/head/etc. pieces do. Any advice?

    Thanks!

As I recall (I can't look now, it's under the bed on which the wife is sleeping), the only removable parts are the weapons (shield, LED gun, and rocket pod). The robot parts are all contained in the three individual bots. However, missing the missile from the white train's rocket pod might make the combined super-weapon look a little stubby...

Ah, cool. I don't mind not having the weapons/missiles - I'd hook him up with some 3rd party stuff, or extra FP Bruticus weaponry.

The only thing that isn't in the trains themselves is the guns and missiles which are used as their guns and the hookups to pull each other in train mode. It's the hook ups that connect them together and to make the handle of the shield. I can get pics if you want. Unless the jp ones are different then the us rid ones

Yeah, that's be cool. I can show the seller the pic, to make sure/see if he has those pieces. He mentioned 'missiles' were missing, but seemed vague on if the weapons themselves were connected to the trains, or separate & missing.

Either way, I got the x3 for $35 + shipping, so I'm pretty happy. :)

    Here ya go..

Oh, you don't need the missile for the handle, it has a built in handle but, you'll see.

The hand is cracked on this one, so I won't touch it, but you get the point, just imagine that the piece is pushed in a little further.

The missile on this first two pictures should be flipped over and put into the connector before putting
it in the back of the train to put it away properly.

Wow, thanks for those pics. Comparing those to the auction's photo - it looks like those bits are intact, but that the guys disonected/lost the missiles themselves. Really looking forward to getting this 'bot now. :)

I am so glad I saw this thread today. I completely forgot that there were batteries in one of the weapons. I just saved mine from some battery leakage.
