    • Dennis Haysbert (The Allstate Insurance Guy, President Palmer on "24");
    • James Earl Jones
    • Mike Colter (Luke Cage)

    Well if we're really going with a non-Cullen Prime...

    Idris Elba. Dude has the voice and authority present for a Prime.

    Never seen Haysbert act but I'm sure he's good. He's definitely got the voice down. James Earl Jones I think is too well known as Vader but he's got the range to do it, and Mike Colter is just a good choice all around.

    I'm honestly fond of Liam Neeson as Optimus.

    But, Josh Brolin as Megatron. . . is.........lovely

    Just wanted to pipe in and say I’m so weary of this Hasbro-fed mentality that Peter Cullen is the only person who can voice Optimus.

    That said, Ironside is generally too gruff and aloof sounding to play Optimus, who’s generally a more empathetic character. He was a solid pick for Ultra Magnus, despite TFP’s poor writing and voice direction.

    Brolin feels like too easy of a pick to voice Megatron in the wake of playing Thanos.

    Josh Brolin voicing Thanos was ok in Infinity War, I'd rather hear Josh Brolin voice Megatron if Paramount decides to reboot Transformers or continue the franchise,
    he's got the scary voice like in movie Sicario Day Of The Soldado he's perfect for voicing Megatron.
