Please man if only one dude from RID is in it.

It's Scourge the original "Nemesis" Prime.

I'm calling it that he wins next year. Afterall He's a charecter Hasbro would probably put in like Dinobot and Waspinator.

It is still a Long ways off. I am sure the wheels will start rolling when it gets closer to time.

Think I will roll with Minerva.

I certainly think you give good reasons for supporting Minerva. The main problem I forsee with her as a candidate though is that not everyone may be familiar with her. Not all of us have watched Masterforce, myself included. And to be honest, I don't feel that she would be the best representation of female TFs in general. Aside from having a toy, I don't think she is a particularly noteworthy or memorable character from Masterforce. Plus, her toy wasn't original. She's a repaint of Nightbeat isn't she?

ROTF Jolt? Yes please! He should get some recognition. I was hoping for him to be in DOTM and was saddened by the fact that wasn't.

You know... There is something we as a fandom have been over-looking this whole time..historically the two most competent Decepticons of all! Laserbeak and Ravage! Let's face it they were the true thorn in the side of the autobots both thru G1 and the movies. Well mostly Laserbeak but they might take them as a pair. Something to consider!

Buzzsaw is the single most powerful decepticon ever, he shot gears in the face

    IN.THE.FACE!!!

and even took down OMEGA F'IN SUPREME

there is a reason they limited his exposure in the cartoon, it would of been over in 5 minutes

I don't know what people have been saying here recently but I support RID Scourge for the TF HOF. Although to separate him from G1 Scourge he should be either Nemesis Prime or Nemesis Prime/Scourge. I do not want G1 Scourge in the HOF.

Nightbeat was actually the repaint of HER, because they thought a female character wouldn't sell well. That's why Siren/Shuta and Hosehead/Cabu are relatively unchanged from their Japanese toys. Which is another interesting aspect of the character, given the ongoing tradition of character gender-bending between American and Japanese representations.

If you haven't watched Masterforce, how can you say she wasn't noteworthy or memorable? Granted, she's certainly more obscure than some other characters, but I'm of the mind the Hall of Fame can be an opportunity to promote awareness of lesser-known, but still impactful characters, alongside the core roster that everyone knows and loves. The fan choice doesn't have to be a month of arguing over which 1984-1986 G1 character was best, it can be a way for the fandom to push for more "cult" favorites who have a lesser chance of being among the HoF acclaimed inductees. It's the same kind of reasoning and support that got us awesome toys like the new Bludgeon, Thunderwing, and Straxus/Darkmount, and I think it would be a good thing for the fans and the franchise to do.

Ah, I see. Kinda like how Nitro Convoy became Override, except in reverse.

It's certainly nice to give some lesser-known characters a little spotlight, and for that reason I wouldn't mind if Minerva made it into the candidates list. It's just that I personally feel that there are better and more recognised representatives for female TFs than her that too deserve more attention. Elita-One for example has been well-known in the fandom for a long time and appeared before Arcee in G1 in the episode that officially introduced female Autobots. But Hasbro always favours Arcee as their primary female Autobot of choice. It wasn't until the first movie toyline that Elita-One got her first figure, which was a repaint of Energon Arcee. She's never had her own original mold, which is kinda disappointing for such a well-known female TF. She has a strong reputation amongst the fans and a place in TFs fiction, but she lacks the official recognition and status she deserves from Hasbro.

If I were running a campaign for Elita-One, I think I'd be using a slogan like: "Before Arcee, there was Elita-One, the first major female Autobot and equal of Optimus Prime. A vote for Elita is a vote for all female TFs!"

BW Scourge the Locust Germ Warfare specialist?

As much as I think Elita-One will get her due someday, and deservedly so, I think my biggest issue with her character, or at least her portrayal, is that for all her characterization as a guerrilla resistance leader, a capable warrior and a determined and cunning commandress, her primary portrayal (IMO) was as "Optimus' Girlfriend", and she's never really been able to truly step outside of that shadow. Which is sad, I'd like to see her portrayed again, in a real leadership role, and one where she gets to shine on her own like some other female characters have. Arcee and Minerva managed to be more than just "the girl on the team" on a number of occasions, and while there was no reason from her actual character for Elita-One to not do the same (come on, she led a resistance struggle for millions of years!), her romance with Prime seemed to be the focus on the few appearances she was allowed. *sigh* If only Dreamwave had lasted a little bit longer.

Obscure characters are fine, when they represent something significant to the franchise. Aernaroth makes a very compelling case for Minerva. RiD Scourge represents the entire Black Convoy / Nemesis Prime trend. Sky Byte represents the lighter comic relief nature of RiD. Heck, Armada Hot Shot would be ideal as a representative of the Unicron trilogy, as a major character there from the very first episode of Armada to the last episode of Cybertron.

The main thing I would like to see, and this is no slight to the Beast Wars fans - I'd like to see a non Beast, non US cartoon G1 originating character get in. It's a Transformers Hall of Fame - lets see it broaden in scope with recognition for characters outside of the original cartoon and the fan-favourite series.
