If Jolt had a voice, he should be voiced by Curtis Armstrong (Dan from Dan.vs) Mainly since I heard his toy bio is that he's kind of a jerk but in these movies you need a funny jerk.

*sigh* I feel like Jolt could have been a great character but no...let's add him at the last second and never use him the sequel.

    I Hate Dan Vs.

They Should Get Nolan North as Jolt in the Second Film. He's the Superjerk.

Jolt had some really intriguing dialog throughout the movies, exceptionally in DOTM. However, it was ROTF where I fell in love with him, personally, I didnt think he was as good in TF1.

I think Crainy learned about this new thing called sarcasm today. So, understably, he is not very good at it. Doesn't stop him from trying, though.... I would advice against paying any more atention...

See, the thing with sarcasm is, in order for it to work, ppl have to understand it's sarcasm. I, and many other, just felt you are a troll, a MBay delusioned worshiper, or both. So I guess it didn't work all that great...

Well, I thought Jolt was really cool. I appreciate most of the original characters from the movies. It negates that whole listening to the bitchy fans(that can't handle Transformers unless it's intended for 8 year olds) whine about how they screwed up some G1 character. Granted all thats really to like about Jolt is the look, and that's only around for a brief moment. I would still buy a Jolt figure if they could pull off a more screen accurate version of him.

Where was it stated that Ratchet would operate onscreen? Jolt needed to charge up the parts, and use the electromagnetic current to assemble them around Optimus. Ratchet just gave the order. That scene could have worked as something like

Jolt: I have an idea. Transplanting afterburners... (does his thing)

But it could not have been the other way around. I don't believe Ratchet had a spare set of long electro/magnet chain whips on him, can I get a pic of that?

It was originally in the novel and the comic where ratchet would operate on optimus with Jetfires parts. It was also stated by Bay I think that he wanted Ratchet to actually operate on something, him being a doctor and all. Jolt was a late addition with the only purpose being to promote the chevy volt, since they didnt have enough time for ratchet to do a full operation, they used this as an oppurtunity to use jolt for something.
