Mocap has been in every installment used since the first movie. They don't use it a lot and its blended very well with all of the key frame animation, but its there.

Example; in the first movie when they first encounter Sector 7, as Ironhide rolls forward to plant that shockwave that takes out the SUV's tires, Optimus points and then takes a few backsteps. Mocap.

Voice acting, yes, actually. That behind the scenes look at Peter Cullen, Ken Watanabe, and John Goodman doing the voices for Age of Extinction, if you pay attention, you can see a date indicating they recorded some of Goodman as late as April 2014. Voice acting for the movies is a very eleventh hour process. Motion capture? Now that probably would be done further in advance since you have to animate it.

The most they've done was study Peter Cullen's (and potentially Leonard Nimoy's) mouth movements. And that didn't start until ROTF.

They certainly used motion capture for Transformers: The Ride, though.

About a post on Will Frielde's twitter that could somehow be related to TLK since he and John DiMaggio are reffering to a secret about something.

No, it doesn't. You're just assuming the two would only be working on Transformers and nothing else, when both are prolific voice actors with credits longer than this movie's script.

I would certainly like Will Friedle to voice BB, but this implies nothing.

It is, but your speculations and assumptions are free for others to comment on and dispute.

Speculation and assumptions are fine, but I don't see how a relation to TLK could be made from what DiMaggio and Friedle are saying.

There's no possible way that what they're doing has any relation to TLK. The movie is coming out in about 3 months, at this point, the movie is probably 95% if not 100% done. You also have to remember that Movie Bumblebee already has a voice actor. Will Fredle is not going to voice him

Could work. I guess, reminds me of his voice from the fan-made Transformers: Civil War trailer.

I don't think Will Friedle will be in TLK though. If Bumblebee do get his voice back, it'll be Mark Ryan who'll do the voice. Not only Mr. Ryan and Michael Bay are best friends, he did an excellent job as Jetfire and Lockdown. He briefly voiced Bumblebee at the end of Transformers 2007 but his Bumblebee voice can be properly found on the prequel motion comic Transformers: Beginning.
