Two good friends, both have voiced transformers characters, but what is going on here?

Could John DiMaggio actually be playing Crosshairs, I mean not a lot of new movies he is in, TLK is one of the latest and I'm thinking this is most likely not the case but what if they are actually using his facial expressions for Crosshairs, they did the same with Hound and also he is talking about a secret?

 

I'm no expert on the voice acting and/or animating process but I'm almost positive that whatever they're doing is unrelated to TLK. I don't think they'd do it this late.

 

Yeah, you're probably right, just in the case of "what if"...what if he just uploads the image only now and it is from months ago, I mean he kinda looks like Crosshairs with the device on his head  

 

Forgot about him. He retweets something about a secret. That's why I thought it could be related to Transformers.

 

I've just seen the tweet and I think it's likely to be about Transformers the last knight.

 

I am skeptical that the tweet is about TLK...

I'd love to be proved wrong though, if they are doing mo cap process than Crosshairs is likely getting some decent screen time.

 

To my knowledge I don't think they've ever used motion capture for the Transformers.

(Other than on set for TLK at the castle of course)

 

It's likely nothing to do with TLK as that normally relies on vocal performances that something physical.

That pic he took is probably for a video game of sorts.

Looks more like motion capture for a video game. I doubt Paramount would spend money on motion capture technology for recurring Transformers.

Bee movie will be live action. The prequel movie "Transformers One" will be an animated CG movie.

 

Would this mean Bumblebee will finally talk in the movie?

Considering the newest trailer suggests Bee's mouth/throat is being worked on, we can conclude he will in fact have his voice. He'd honestly have to lol.
