Apparently you and I are the only two people who thought it was complete shit.

Couldn't stand it either. At all.

But yeah, I still think Schumacher's efforts were even worse.

Did your balls fall of entering the theater or something?

Michelle Pfeiffer running around in skintight PVC is as close to heaven as one can get in a movie theater without dying.

If that was the entire movie, with no dialogue, fine. Would have been fine.

But Devito's Penguin was utter shit. The story was completely boring. Ugh! Stop making me relive it!

Even if I thought Batman Returns was gash, which I don't, it'd still think that the film was worth it for the awesome SNES game.

I love Batman Returns. But I also enjoyed Schwarzeneggar's portrayal of Freeze, so maybe that disqualifies me. I just really dislike Clooney, one of the most overrated actors of our time. He's pretty much only capable of "acting" as himself.

...Batman Returns did suck, just so bad compared to Batman 1989.

Well were at it, id like an apology for
    Spiderman 3
    Superman Returns
    Daredevil
    The Punisher
    X3
and the long overdue apology for whoever is responsible for Superman 3&4 (although drunk Superman was all kind of awesomness).

The Batman and Robin audio commentary is -worth it- to hear Schumacher bash the movie and the process that spawned it for an hour and a half.

That 4-movie box they released years ago has some excellent special features that really warrant purchase.

i didn't think it was great, but i enjoyed them lol. i disliked the fact that batman killed people, doesn't really make a good hero story if your hero kills people just for the heck of it lol!

Believe it or not, watching a bit of that video has made me want to see the film again. I remember it being piss awful, but I never realised how unintentionally hilarious it is once the anger has subsided.

Still the best Batman game IMO, althougth thats not hard when you look at the rest of them.

    Ok... Apology accepted.
Now I wait for Richard Lester to step up and apologize for taking over Donner's director sit and screwing up with Superman II. Thank god for Donner's superman II on DVD.

I actually had the same reaction when I got the 4-movie set back when Begins came out. I meant to show it to a friend of mine who'd never seen it, and found myself a little happy I'd refreshed my memory of the film for those same reasons.

    *edit*

And yes, Schumacher's apology really is several years old now. :lol

I COMPLETELY agree. I have always thought Patrick Stewart would be a perfect Mr. Freeze but of course played like he was in the Batman cartoon show. They made that character so amazingly deep and driven for a cartoon character and I hope Nolan tackles him or the Riddler next.
