Not sure if this should go here or GD... move if necessary. It's on right now, Joe should be appearing shortly.

I just saw this show. He was a pretty...sporty...interviewee. One of the rare interviewees who know it's actually a joke. He was, dare I say it, almost a Colbert fanboy.

Cool. It's the first time I've seen Colbert do an interview where the interviewee just endlessly compliments Colbert.

    A Colbert/Quesada Wrapup

Here's basically what was said during the interview.

The video for the interview isn't up on Comedy Central yet, maybe later today.

The Colbert Report has to be one of the smartest shows on tv.

I love that cover. Colbert show is leaps and bounds better than the daily show which seems to have become too political for my likings...

.... you mean you watch the Daily Show for something other than Lewis Black?

I didn’t want to read this thread before I saw the interview. It was ok, Joe seemed a little spazed out.

That’s rad there is going to be a Tek Jansen comic.

You mean somebody watches the Daily Show for something OTHER than political satire?

    Color me surprised.

Anyway, I loved Quesada's interview on Colbert. It was great how he plugged Civil War in a really intelligent, sophisticated way that would appeal to many people...it was a very pleasant treat.

Guilty as charged... I mean I know that Bush isn't perfect... I don't need Stewart reminding me of this fact every 5 minutes...

and who DOESN'T like Lewis Black?!?!!

I haven't seen him lately, but when he returned from his hiatus...he wasn't as good as he used to be. I found myself more often disappointed than entertained.

In any case, The Colbert Report is good in small doses. Like, once or twice a week. With the style of his show, every single day is a little overwhelming.
