I have the original lady jaye, but am looking for a new one. the local tru happens to have the 3 figure comic pack with the new head sculpt from last year, and then there's the jvc one from a couple years ago, and then there's the new one coming out. which one do you think makes the best (not including the original) and why?

I like that 3 pack one... So much I plan to cut off her head and drill it out for a custom job I have in the works. The Spy Troops LJ has a creepy pin head.

I'm holding my opinions on the 25th one until I see it in hand.

I have to go with Buzzbeak on this one. I do think the 25th will be better but based on all currently release Lady Jaye figures the comic pack is the best. All Lady Jaye figures before the Spytroops version are just repaints anyway. That and the comic pack version is the only one without a molded hat, a big plus in my book.

To add to Buzzbeaks link is the 2003 convention exclusive version which is not listed as one of the four although the link is in the "Body Construction" section.

too bad the hat is permanent on the new anny. figure, but its supposed to be a re-imagining of the original, which had the hat. I'd prefer show accuracy personally, but that figure still looks amazing.

    That 25th one rules!

Aside from that I love ver. 1 and would love ver. 2 even more if it had good plastic and paint.

All 3 new ones have their charms and their imperfections IMO. The upcoming anniversary one is probably the best though. I'm just not sure about the face...but then, that's my issue with the 2 before it as well, and the new one is probably my fave of the three.

i think the best head sculpt was the iron grenadier one. the new ones make her look like kitty from the 70s show.

Comic pack wins all around. The original head is kinda mannish; Spytroops has a pinhead; and the 25th, while the best overall sculpt..what's up with that hat? It looks like it's just perched on top of her head and would blow off if Flint sneezed from 10 feet away. Maybe it's removeable...then it'd be okay, but I dinna think we've seen any evidence that it is.

The 3 pack one is better, but personally I'd wait for the 25th version.

Also released as G.I. Jane in one of the 6 packs.

I want a modern release Lady Jaye. All you'd need is to release a skeleton and coffin. *rimshot*

No problem. Bombstrike is my favorite female Joe mold. I always wanted Hasbro to give that mold a new head and repaint it as a female Cobra Trooper. The G.I. Jane remold was nice though.

Another one of my favorites is Cover Girl, the comic 3-pack version. This one was the last original mold female Joe figure released before the 25th Anniversary as part of the DTC line.

ooh yeah, between that one and bombstrike, we finally got ourselves some gals!

as far as lady jayes go, I really really like the new, upcoming mold, but sort of like the head from the comic pack one (without the hat). I'd like to take the head from that one and put it on the new one, except a. I don't want to spend $10 for that head, and b. the new designs would require some cutting/modifying.
