Am I right in thinking that somebody was planning to release a knockoff of the Jizai wheelie design in the original size (ie, smaller than deluxe)?

If so, where do I get it?

I would like to know this also. The superalloy versions was too big and too much diecast for my taste

I've never heard of this. X-Transbots Survivalist is about the same size as the Superalloy, and they are trying to get it out.

Um, no. The X-transbot Wheelie is the same size as their Powerglide which is smaller than the superalloy one. Superalloy figures are up-sized.

Xtransbots are supposed to be the same size as jizai toys.

I have X-Transbots Powerglide. He stands just over 13 centimeters tall.

I don't have the X-Transbot PG, but I do have the Jizai original, which is... *measures* ...just over 13 centimetres tall.

Basically Op, you want the X-Transbot Wheelie.

It would seem so. And that's what I remember us being told; that we were getting two different KOs of the Jizai designs, one set upscaled (Superalloy) and one a straight copy (X-Transbots).

Oh, and the joints are pretty dire on the original. Superalloy did a great job redesigning the joints for Wheelie (I have both - even posted a comparison pic in one of the threads a while back). Don't think X-Transbots have gone to that trouble, but as I say, I don't own X-T so not certain.

Can't wait to get me an upscaled Powerglide! :D

Superalloy Wheelie measures 13.5cm to top of his head. That might not sound like much more than the regular Powerglide, but bear in mind that Powerglide has those wings extending his height. Jizai Wheelie is a hair shorter than Jizai Powerglide.
