I'm not really quite sure what to make of that. Is it supposed to be a Megatron that becomes the head of Galvatron? For a G2 Megatron?
So this'll be insanely expensive, fragile, and almost totally pointless. You know what? I think I'll pass.
Maybe they've grown sick of seeing Hasbro do the same characters as them, and have decided to do something random. Now I'm just waiting for Botcon '09 to announce the G2 Combat Hero Megatron w/ Galvatron Minicon Headmaster as part of the 25th Anniversary line as confirmation of the theory Hasbro are deliberately trying to screw Jizai Toys.
At least then the toy and head would both be purple. They'd need a new chest sticker to apply over the "Megatron Rulz J00!" garbage on there now.
Wha? I'm very confused. Why Reverse Convoy? Why Megatron? If they wanted to make a Headmaster toy, I would like a transforming Animated Headmaster. I am completely and utterly confused. It makes 0 sense.
Because Megatron never had a headmaster and Reverse Convoy is a Megatron with a remolded ability to have a new head attached? It's an odd idea, but it's 100% original. Maybe they've decided to follow the trends of Fansprojects and others like them to make original ideas and accessories for TFs instead of just updating old ideas. No way in hell I'd buy this, but that's not cause I think it's a bad idea.
It's an interesting idea... sort of. Thing is, if it sold at the normal price for what looks to be about minicon size, I'd probably buy it. But at Jizai prices, I really have to wonder who their target audience is.
Plus the fact that it's designed around a rather pain in the ass to get mold. I mean with the Cliffjumper kit or the UM Trailer, they're add on kits for things people could find anywhere as they're both rather recent and globally released. But how many fans have a Reverse Convoy just kicking about waiting for a new head?
