[Jimmy Fallon doing Adam Sandler]Whoopidedoo![/Jimmy Fallon doing Adam Sandler]
Never found him to be that funny...
Gag. So much for "Late Night."
Alright, I liked Fallon when he was on SNL but he's not good enough to host a show on his own.
GO BACK TO SNL OR RETIRE!
The only funny thing I've seen Fallon do is that Andy Gibb talk show skit with Justin Timberlake. Is there a time frame for when Leno is gone and this whole debacle starts?
I hope he gets a co-host...maybe Horatio Sanz.
Sorry, I read that wrong, I thought Jimmy Fallon replaced Conan the Barbarian
eh, i only tivo late night shows if theres a band or a guest i want to see...so this doesnt really affect me much...
I'm not crazy about Fallon but I always found Conan to be terribly unfunny in person. I know he has written some funny stuff though.
It's a good thing I suppose, now we can stop paying his unemployment checks.
QFT. I don't think it will go well.
Good, I can continue to enjoy Kimmel, and finally watch Conan again.
Why would you give the job to a guy who's greatest post SNL accomplishment is a Pepsi commercial?
This could really go either way. I was never too crazy about him on SNL, but his best work was easily Weekend Update, which would translate pretty smoothly to a late night talk show. I think he can pull it off. Conan was almost a universally panned choice back in the day, and now he's gonna be hosting one of the 2 or 3 most iconic shows in television history. So I say let's give Fallon a chance.
