I haven't checked it out yet, but Sorenson just posted another huge download, looks like a sort of bible for the G1 show that was given to Friedman. Disciples of Boltax

the link has gone, the items have all now been removed from the heritage auction site.

it's initial sketches of each of them, together with hand written annotations explaining a bit about the ideas behind each of them.

I'm guessing the person you were bidding for wouldn't be interested in sharing his findings with the fandom at large, kjeevahh?

I'm still miffed the Armada series bible's been lost to the ether. Probably some fascinating stuff in there.

I love all the original names in these things, blowout, sprint, spinout, scrounge, guzzle, very interesting

Also final confirmation that the bios/molds for sideswipe and sunstreaker were switched on accident.

I need to go home and check this out. I love hearing the "behind the scenes" and "making of" materials.

Just checked out a couple pages, pretty insightful. The Bluestreak section caught my eye, especially the "Color Revised 5-1-1984" . We could of had a Diaclone colored Bluestreak in the G1 line:banghead:

I have my doubts that they switched colors just because they could.

Perhaps more likely that based on the early Diaclone overstock that they used, there simply were not enough blue Bluestreaks available.

For some reason i had this impression that the tf bible was always available online via one of those old fan sites from the Att days.

I indeed wonder what the hell is wrong with out fandom. Maybe it's because the Bay movies are bringing in so many youngins.

Anyway, I was really surprised to see that Skywarp was originally meant to be olive in color! Brings a whole new insight to Masterpiece greenscream :D

well I'd certainly like to look at these things and comment on them.. however I don't wish to risk my computers health by going to Megaupload to download these files..

Free Fileshareing services just make me think "VIRUS, TROJAN, DEATH" for some reason..

but I'm sure these binders are filled with all sorts of cool stuff..

Indeed they are, all manner of cracking info contained therein...and they're all clean, so don't deny yourself! Jawbreaker? Piledrive? And what with the references to 'four Dinobots', the one that's missing isn't who I thought it would be!

And yeah, the young whipper-snappers are too busy arguing about all the imminent Bayhem to give a hoot about historical gems like these...me, I say 'more, please!' :thumb

Boy do I love to see Thundercracker's bio!

And remember that the G1 show didn't do shit to show that personality :(
