If you're interested in the wig, the Transart version should have one:
...i think it does, amazingly enough.
Not digging the face sculpt on the TransArt one. Need to see the full design.
That isn't the final design for Trans Arts face sculpt, there's been a few updates since that image came out.
Theres something off about this aesthetic. The robot mode looks too human, especially the face. It looks like 80's Magneto doing BW cosplay.
Yeah, I see what you mean... It's also throwing me off.
Elaborate? What looks human about it.
That was hilarious.
You got my upvote, sir.
Dunno. Call me radical, but I prefer PE's rendition more.
Still, this does look close to the source material.
Is it the lips? Those are some almost Overlord level lips.
I came here to post "Overlord would be jealous of those lips", but you beat me too it.
Woah... This is way more screen accurate than the Perfect Effect version, and it looks great. On the other hand, I do think the modernized stylized mechanical look and extra features of the PE version looks way cooler.
I think for me this will come down to prices. I'd probably still pay up to $30 more for the PE version, maybe, but if this isn't much over $100 it will be my Masterpiece TM2 BW Megatron.
If you look at the source material Megatrons head looks like one piece, thus making him look more like a robot. On this head sculpt, it literally looks like a human being wearing a gladiator helmet. It almost looks removable. Im not a fan of those huge pecks, biceps, or thighs either. They make him look like a WWE wrestler with dragon kibble.

Yes they are in MP scale. Just pointing out that the TransArt one isn't really an alternative for this one because of the differing scales.
...You're either in the wrong thread, or...something...
..Great, I'm actually wanting those huge OS KO's now for the purpose of scale with official MP BW figures... Thanks a lot.
Like I said to someone else, the TransArt Toys one is scaled with G1 MP's, meaning it is undersized compared to the original toy (which it is KO'ed from). So if you were looking for a MP Transmetal II Megatron that scales with PE Beast Gorira or official MP BW figures, TransArt doesn't work for that. Just some useful info.
Just looks like Beast Wars Transmetal II Megatron to me.
The proportions are pretty faithful to the CGI which means you probably just dont like TM2 Megatron.
I guess, but all I know is that TransArt made an Optimal Optimus that was a KO of the original toy with working extendable chest cannons and a backpack that can fold down, and it was scaled down to fit in scale with the likes of MP-10. Their TMII Megatron follows suit. And this one from Jiang-Xing is stated to be a MP-sized TMII Megatron, in that it is similar in scale to official BW MP's and I would assume PE's Beast Gorira. So this and TransArt should be different sizes.
Actually beast gorira is kinda too small. someone on here said its about 25-26 cm, or roughly 9.8" and to be comparable to the scale set forth by mp-32 and mp-34 it needs to be 36cm. This company has stated if they do an optimal optimus it'll be 33-34 cm or around 13" (according to someone on this thread. I haven't asked if they intended to do optimal optimus or how big it'd be)
The only thing I don’t really care for, in all versions, is the translucent plastic on the forehead. I would prefer a solid red like the CGI version.
The face at this stage seems a little off to me as well. I’m not sure, it may be the lips.
As of right now, I like the way it looks better than the others. However, the paint and the price would make the final determination for me.
Na man that head sculpt is off. It really looks like a human wearing a removable helmet. The head sculpt just doesnt scream robot to me. Its something about the face and the jaw that doesnt connect it to the helmet. Its hard to explain but just looks too human.
