I wasn't keeping track of the 3P TM2 Megatrons. Now I gotta figure out which is the right size, looks best, is made by a "reputable" maker, and makes sense cost-wise. Homework!

Where's that helpful board member that does those uber-useful visual comparisons when you need him?? Daimchoc? Cheem?

@GALVATOM , is the lastest version of your chart on your topic outdated? Or do you have already adjusted it with the new changes you've done in this thread? If we send them the more correct one then there's a chance we will get a perfectly sized figures...I admit this is a very exciting prospect.

 

The fact this company is using the chart flatters and terrifys me haha. I started collecting more references from season 3 last night and will try my best to get it as accurate as possibe. I'll be posting my updated findings this weekend so anyone who wants to join in and help please do.

Seeing this in color wow I can see this figure looks very promising. Only nitpick is the face sculpt seems off....

 

It looks pretty amazing to me, though one would have to assume they'd make an official MP one at some point. I'd rather hold out and see what other companies offer.

 

I’m not sure many other companies apart from perfect effect are gonna do it. I really think people need to tap into that.

Aahhh, I always knew I’d end up getting him!
If we see TM2 Dinobot, Rampage and Depth Charge in this style and scale too (Don’t particularly care for OpOp but I’ll have to get him) then I’ll be a happy collector.
Tigerhawk is pretty cool but I don’t really have much love for the design; would defo want TM2 Dinobot next. So are these guys primarily just upscaling the original Megatron figure or have they designed it all themselves? The faces could use a bit of ‘de-Anime-fying.’

 

It looks good, but to me, the one from PE still wins.

I will get at least one copy, that's for sure!

 

See I don’t think this is better than the PE one but the PE one looks a bit over detailed compared to beast gorira. Although the rest of the styling still matches. But not this.
