Anybody notice that Jetblade's colors are similar to Scourge? Maybe he could stand in until Generations/ Probable Custom Scourge are made

I think he bears a slight color resemblance. Except for his robot mode..that red throws of the Scourge thing. Makes the mould look good though.

    Oh... Dirge repaint...

It does have a similar color palette to Scourge, and being a rather insignificant "character" on a previously unused name... I say go for it. If you want it to be your movieverse Scourge/Sweeps, by all means, it's your collection.

Note that I specified "movieverse," however.

I'll probably pick up this Jetblade figure, but yeah, I honestly don't see much of a Scourge resemblance beyond the color palette.

The guy's saying the colors are similar, not noting some other resemblance.

But ya, a few weeks ago a friend mentioned this to me and got me thinking I might have to pick up a few Jetblades as stand-in Sweeps (until/if a Classics Scourge is made). For the price of 1 Botcon Sweep, multiple Jetblades would make a decent unit, for the price of the Botcon 3 pack, Jetblade would make an army of Sweeps. I think they'd look ok next to U2 Cyclonus and Superlink Galvatron G.

Jetblade is a (modified)harrier, a VTOL jet, so a conceptual similarity to the hovercraft alt mode.

An army of Jetblades would be awesome.

For whatever reason, Jetblade's color scheme has reminded me of Dreadwind from the moment we first saw photos of him. Plus, the first movie already had a "Dreadwing," so it would make sense that they'd have to change the name if it is indeed an intentional homage. Regardless, even if I'm wrong on this, he looks great, and I'm definitely planning on picking him up!

The only thing Jetblade makes me think of is Ramjet, but even that's not really close. He's just a new Seeker character, is all.

I see it working better in the Classic-verse IMO if just a little more of his "movieness" could be toned down. Color scheme good. Face seems to have similarities. Biut, definetly if we're talking Movie-verse.
