Customs: Jet-power Prime?

    I just wanted to ask a question about Jet-power Prime.

    You know the hinge on Jetfire that connects the back and front of his torso and moves the back of his torso down for his Transformation? I was wondering is it possible to unscrew the blue part from the black part, snip the wire and pull the two apart and then be able two pieces back together without having to screw it back in?

    Or, as an alternative, can you unpin the black part of the hinge from the back of his torso and again clip it back on without having to put the pin back in?

    I hope someone can help me out with this. If it works, I'd love to try it for a more posable Jet-Prime. Thanks in advance.

    J.T. Silversmith worked on a project like this. He didn't do what you mentioned, but maybe he looked into it...
