This is the green Takara version. Those frigging Stress marks. I was thinking I was gonna have fun transforming MP Starscream again. I went to detach the back panel that connects to the wings in jet mode when. PoooP! The wing came off. I figured, "WTF? Let me snap it back in.......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" It's not sposed to come off!

I know it's a long shot but is there anything out there stronger than crazy glue. The plastic tabs are so small, I'd be wasting my time with crazy glue.

My diagprognoses is dump that piece of junk and buy one of the re-paints (*cough* Skywarp *cough*).

Though, to my knowledge nothing will really keep those little pegs in place (least, glue wise).

This is exactly why my Masterpeice Starscream (Hasbro) never ever ever gets transformed. And why Im hesitant to buy Skywarp.

You might need to drill a hole and install a metal peg. But I am not exactly sure about which piece broke on yours. :(  A sad day indeed.

All you have to do is be careful and apply even pressure. That's it. I have NO problems whatsoever on m Hasbro Starscream and my Takara Skywarp and Thundercracker.

I'll try to describe it better. The double jointed hinge where Screamer's wing folds up to his back, The part of the hinge that's actually on his back, the pin just cracked right though. The plastic there is almost like paper.

My Takara Skywarp is fine so far, but my Takara SS does have a funny stress mark (not in the place he's talking about) that leaves me transforming it very rarely- and extremely carefully when i do.

That was actually the main reason I got Skywarp, so I could just leave SS in bot mode and transform Skywarp.

Same thing happened with mine (US version) after I transformed him a few times. I tried fixing it with glue, but there just wasn't enough plastic on that hinge to make it work. Ended up ebaying my MP SS as a parts lot.

At this point, I'll wait for a heavy dose of feedback from the early-adopters before I sink that many bones into a figure again.

Just what I do, I'm very careful with all TF's when they're new, or new to me. I take time over the first TFation to see if any spots look weak. By supporting that joint and spreading the load through it all, it's been fine on the three MP Seekers I've opened, really must get round to TC.

yup that Joint is fragile and i am expecting that MP Ghost screamer to be the source of many horror stories due to that joint and clear plastic

Don't scare me. I have finally talked myself into buying Skywarp. It has taken me a while for this exact reason.

Greenscream was the worst of them, after that, the plastic is better, and on Hasbro versions, I think the plastic is a bit more pliable, and doesn't stress as easily (of course it is possible it still can, but less likely) on Hasbro releases.

I've owned every version of the mold, and only had issues with the first Takara SS.

Oh Im careful on the rare ocassions that i transform it.

Nah the hinge on mine (US Screamer) cracked last time. Not bad, but enough that I notice it and he now stays in robot mode.

Mine has stress marks and cracks too. I wish they'd just reissue the original MP Starscream like they did a lot of the others.

My Japanese MP Skywarps and T'crackers are both broken in the same place, the tiny little pointed tip on the rear upright tail. Hope I didn't get too technical there.
I was gutted when I did it to my T'cracker, and then I checked my Warp and he was the same. I don't know what annoys me more, the fact that I broken an £80+ toy or that if I'd waited it would have been £20 from Argos.

A tip: Swing out the lower arms first,
then put your finger through the hole, push the air flap up,
    THEN disconnect the wings.

    Hasbro Skywarp is sturdy enough.

Eh, I'm more of a "one of each mold" kinda guy. Only have two Masterpeice TFs.
