I always enjoyed his distinctive voice on TF Victory and DragonBall Z. It's a shame about the circumstances. He will be missed.

It's really a shame Japan doesn't have groups to help people thinking about killing themselves.

I'll miss this Daisuke Gouri's voice, which is now forever silenced. Namco's Tekken is screwed.

 

I don't really know his work from Transformer series, but I know him very well from Animes and videogames. He was Bass (the Hulk Hogan lookalike) in the Dead or Alive series, he was one of my favorite Zeta Gundam villains Bosque Ohm, and he has dozens of memorable bit parts in assorted animes, usually as villains.

You might not be familiar with any given role, but once you hear a clip of his voice you'll exclaim, "On it's THAT guy." His voice was VERY distinct. His voice was deeper than Stallone's. It was DEEP.

He'll be missed.

Never knew the guy nor heard of his name/contributions to TF until now. Unfortunately, his way of passing is a shame. My condolence to his loved ones and fans.

  Even though I only heard his voice from Gundam Musou as Dozle Zabi, he had quite an awesome voice! My regard to his family for their loss.   Gori-san.
