Japanese Image Board (copy link and paste into location bar)

Note, Rattrap and Tigertron on the right side are the original Japanese releases, while the large Convoy is from Beast Wars Reborn. The rest of the figures (Cheetor, smaller Convoy, Dinobot) are from the release by TakaraTomy.

I'm really impressed with Convoy/Primal in those colors. Looks like I'll be buying the RM Beast Convoy mold again (razzafraggin' Beast Wars completist in me).

HLJ has them in stock now too. http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Dis=-2&MacroType=Toy&from=detail&Word=beast%20wars

Randy -Whose glad he has the Japanese Rattrap pictured above...

Gah! I wish everyone would stop posting pictures of these. You people are going to make me cave and buy Cheetor and Dinobot. *shakes fist* So... pretty....

Now I want a JBW Rattrap, too. ARGH.

Cheetor and Primal look great. I'm finding Dinobot just a little disappointing - mostly the way they handled the skin striping. They changed from too-sharp stripes to huge airbrushed blotches (which isn't any closer to show-accurate IMO)

Think I may try doing some part-swapping between the Hasbro and Takara BW10th releases.

NO! Not now, please, not now!

There is still too much stuff I need to get! Like Ramjet, WST Snarl, Soundwave... I can't buy all this at once!

So, the DVDs that come with the figs have cases? That's reasonably classy.

Damn, I'm going to end with Cheetor and Dinobot at this rate. I was already leaning toward getting Cheetor since the rubber on the gun on my original had cracked slightly. That badass paint job is not helping me say "no" any.

I'll add him to my Botcon list.

Blackarachnia still looks incredibly silly as a repaint of Taranulas.

I caved and ordered Corahda. Cheetas and Dinobot are the most popular ones in Japan, it seems.

I have a morbid curiosity at just how badly Takara reworked the cartoon to make it a comedy series.
