I've bought Godzilla candy toys/mini-figures that were blind packed like that before. It's fun, unless you're deliberately trying to find certain figures; then it gets kinda frustrating unless you buy a whole case.
No, no idea yet. But I do intend to purchase, so I`m looking out!! I guess they`ll probably be the second wave of this series.
I principle I don`t mind, it is a bit of a con really, but it kinda adds to the collectability of things, and usually theres a rare secret one to collect. I got alot of the G1 Vinyl characters blind. But these legends are a little annoying, becasue I know back home (UK) you can just buy them normally!
I've gotten some of those Godzilla blind packed figures before too. I really wanted a "Raids Again" 'zilla, but I kept getting other ones. I did take a shot at the blindpacked RotF dog-tags yesterday, and SCORE, I got Ravage. Possibly my favorite RotF look TF, so that worked out.
It is nice when it works out for you! I bought blindpacked Star Wars vehicle the other day, in the series there are 4 vehicles from the old Trilogy, and 1 from the new trilogy. I thought, "the odds are in my favour here". What did I get? The freaking Episode III walker!!!
I saw these in Denden town today, but luckily they were already opened and you could choose. Had to pass due to Alternity Convoy Vibrant Red eating my money tho. But I suppose half the fun is in not knowing what you'll get!
Blind packed stuff sucks. After I get the same thing twice in a row on my first two purchases I rapidly lose interest.
Thanks much! My local Circle K had never heard of them, which was terribly inconvenient for me as I had to walk more than 15 feet to the 7-11 next door. Do any of you know on exactly which day these first appeared in stores?
