With having a small child now and having a bunch of the Japanese reissues and Master Piece figures I started wondering if there is any lead paint in any of these figures. Has anyone tested the Japanese Released figures? Encore, Book Style, Convention reissues or Master Piece figures?

I would assume they all are toxic to kids and act accordingly. Plus, they're expensive. Buy the kid some Hasbro toys.

Generally japanese stuffs are more tailored towards adults, which is why you will see more sharp points and spring-loaded goodies. while I don't think any of the paint is toxic, it wouldn't hurt to be extra cautious.

I'm actually looking more for whether anyone has performed any lead tests on their Transformers to see what type of levels the toys have.
