@ Nevermore - the Spychanger Optimus Prime also came with the Lawson exclusive Real Color Blackout and Metallic Scorpy. It wasn't explicitly mentioned in the Lawson promo.

Looks like he is wearing a flame bra. What, does he work at Hot Topic now?

This spychanger has the same deco as that G2 Laser OP bootleg being sold on ebay. Damn, what have Takara done? Copying bootlegers? For shame.

It's not that similar though, KO LROP has a red head and uses red/blue chest stickers from the original release. He's also different in a few other parts(No chrome on the front for example) I have a KO LROP myself, it's actually rather neat.

Yes, how dare they release a toy that's well-proportioned and has a nice face sculpt in that terrible deco.

I agree with most of the opinions already posted - that thing is pretty hideous. Interesting concept in theory, but total failure in practice. Sad to think that Takara was once a big part of my collecting habit in the past but now they don't even come close to consideration anymore.

Exactly. This figure's not horrible, but there's just nothing spiffy about it.

In the words of Linus: "I never thought it was such a bad little figure. It's not bad at all, really. Maybe it just needs a little love."

Glad I'm ambivalent about these, as this one just doesn't do it for me.

I love all the cries of anguish and disappointment, as if people didn't know exactly what this was going to be 5 months ago. Not to mention the majority of them will never even have an opportunity to own it anyways.

Its a dvd freebie anyways. Its better than some of the keychains and crap from Sears and such that we got over here
