Alright, we've already got several 3rd party incarnations of Optimus, Megatron, and even Ultra Magnus and Rodimus Prime got some love. But where are the Japanese G1 leaders?

    Deszaras
    Overlord
    Dai Atlas
    Star Saber/Victory Leo

Would you buy them if someone were to make them? What size categories would you prefer for them?

I'd buy a Victory Sabre set in a heartbeat.

G1 Victory Leo is my most wanted TF of all time, and it's funny because I don't even collect G1.

I don't collect G1 either, but I'd buy an Overlord in a heartbeat if it was a good mold.

I might buy a classics-styled Victory Saber or Star Saber. Deszaurus would also be kind of cool...

Honestly, though, with all the combiner love hitting the market, I'm a little surprised no one's done Road Caesar or LioKaiser. Road Caesar would be comparatively easy (only three - admittedly larger - members), and LioKaiser is just one hell of a cool combiner concept that hasn't really had a toy that does it justice.

Victory Leo isn't all he's cracked up to be. Prone to breaking, and a giant brick... Worth it if you don't have to pay out the nose for him, but a 3P version of him is capable of so much more...

Though, the Robot Masters version of him and Star Saber are a pretty decent low-cost alternative :)

Well, we're technically getting a Great Demon General in the form of Darksol, the upgrade kit for ROTF Mindwipe.

Given Overlord's popularity (and pretty much any of the other featured LSotW characters) it wouldn't surprise me if we get an unlicensed/third party Overlord from some company in the future, especially in light of the Botcon toy that hasn't satisfied many.

As for the others I would hope that they're at least on the radar of the major third party companies but bigger name G1 characters are probably a higher priority. Then again, if Computron and/or Abominus do happen....

Not just the leaders and give them their original G1 size.

I doubt it, though once I finally get the Japanese Collection and watch these guys in action, I may change my mind.

I'm thinking that iGear may be thinking about Overlord, since they are purportedly going to make Pyro, Rotorstorm, Guzzle, and Ironfist (and have confirmed that they are working on Impactor as well).

I'd like to see Overlord, Snare, Skyquake, and some other Predators as well.
