Okay, so i really kinda like the Takara Animated figures, although only getting Arcee. What other US animated toys should get this treatment. I say Rodimus, since we might not get him, and i really want him.

I'll be getting the ones that aren't released in the US. Oh, and Cliffjumper. Since I never found him and he will be cheaper from JPN than Ebay.

If we don't get Wingblade Prime, Blackout, Thundercracker, Hot Rodimus, Ironhide, Fugitive Wasp, Arcee, and Cybertron Ratchet in Canada.... AND if they are all released in the Japanese Animated line. Then Takara will probably be getting my money that would've gone to Hasbro.

I've got Blackout preordered, just like I did with Henkei Red Alert. I'll import the other unreleased Animated if that's my only option.

I think the shiny colours on the Takara versions suck big ones, BUT if that's the only way I can get the figures that Hasbro fails to release, then I guess I will have no choice.

    Ebay:
i preordered Arcee from BBTS already.
am glad to hear that she will be quite similar to her US release.

I want Diabeetus (Blackout), Rodimus and Wingblade, and then i think i am done with Animated.

    Ebay:
Transformers Animated stuff went on sale yesterday in Japan. I went to TRU and they had an impressive set-up. Pictures aren't allowed, but I'll try to describe it as best as possible. The display was quite large. There were huge cardboard signs displaying the characters and logo. There was also a case with most of the currently available characters displayed out of the packaging.

I got to the store shortly after it opened, but still not early enough to get one of the exclusive Demolishor EZ figures.

This week, most of the figures are on sale. The prices are as follows:

    Basics: 999 yen each.
    Deluxe: 1,699 yen each.
    Voyager: 2,799 yen each.

The different giftsets were also available:

    Optimus/Megatron (voyagers) 5,500 yen
    Starscream/Bumblebee (voyager/deluxe) 4,400 yen.
    Lockdown/Ratchet (deluxe) 3,300 yen.

Let me just say this about the TakaraTomy versions of the Animated figures. They look amazing. The pictures I've seen so far show them much darker than they really appear. Bumblebee, for example, is a shining yellow, not nearly as golden as some images have made it seem. I'm not sure how many people will like them enough to import (especially after buying the US versions already). Personally, I'm thrilled with these. I'm just kind of bummed that we probably won't get the leader-scale figures over here. An Ultra Magnus done in this style would be great!

Me wantee (from whichever company or store is able to sell them to me) Blackout, Wingblade Prime, Hydro-Bee, Rodimus, & Ironhide. Maybe Thundercracker too. Kinda hoping (if it comes out) Hydro is more yellow than gold.
