"hi my question is for James."

    "Go ahead."

    "Anode sucks."

    "... That's not a question."

    "You're not a question!"

Why are they calling it TFCon DC? This thing's in Reston. Reston's 30 minutes outside of D.C., and that's if you take the Toll Road. Any other way it's a guaranteed 40 to 45 minutes without traffic. The Metro Silver Line won't be much faster either. I always find it funny how they list places like the Air and Space Udvar Hazy Center and Leesburg as being in the "DC" area.

It's not like anyone's ever heard of Virginia.

And TFCon Toronto was in Mississauga, not Toronto. It's a thing a lot of cons/events do. I think it's a way to help people understand the approximate area the con is being held. I've never heard of Reston but I have heard of DC. Just like how most people have probably never heard of Mississauga but have heard of Toronto.

This way I know at least that it's in the US and that the other was in Canada. Reston or Misses Sausage? Never heard of those :D  Could be anywhere on this planet.

I haven`t been able to make it to one of these, but it`s only 6 to 7 hours from me so I figure I`d try to make it...I just need to know if there will be a dealers room all 3 days ? , and if it`s even worth it ? ..... I am seeking G1 and some G2 with a splash of BW and Takara`s BW 2 as well as BW NEO ...

I remember that nature walk in Canada, like where the fuck is this place?! Getting there like the stinky sweaty broke American I was. Man, that was unforgettable in a good way. I considered it my poor man's euro backpacking excursion. Here in the DMV (locals call it that - DC Maryland Virginia), take the Metro. If youre coming in via Regan, give Crystal City Resturant a shot for their T bone steak... you'll enjoy it! The atmosphere is ... friendly. Definitely swing by the Udvar Hazy, take in a true IMAX there, and say hi to Jetfire for me. Then you got D.C. Take a lunch at the Mall and swing by one of Smithsonian museums. Then take the Metro to Tysons Galleria. I'll probably be in line for the UCS Millenium Falcon at their Lego Store. Get some cold stone, and hit up an Lyft to Fast Eddies billiards for some nine ball and brew. If you pass out, just stay where you lay, and I'm sure someone will throw a blanket on ya.
