I found a Waluigi to go with my Wario. I should really get around to getting Figuarts Luigi someday soon.
I picked up Peppy at a Walmart. I'll eventually pick up red Link and star power Mario if they hang around for a few months. But I can live without them if not. It would be nice to get a sale on the rest of the wave, since it's so full of variants...
Cool, saw the new wave at Walmart (minus the Koopa). I picked up Star Power Mario to go with the Figuarts regular and Fire Marios. I have to say the effect of the toy is really cool, though it does make me wish the "M" on his hat was sculpted on.
My Walmart today had 2 flying Koopa Troopers and 2 Star Marios, but I didn't pick either up since I don't have the money. Hell, I couldn't even use my 30% off B&N coupon.
Got lucky on Black Friday and found two more Metroids at Wal-Mart! I mailed one to a buddy who collects a few towns over and I think I'm going to just stop at two. Didn't see these after months of searching, gave up and found three in the span of a week
I have yet to find the 2.5" Metroid but I actually found the 6" Metroid at a local ToysRUs and it has actually been there for a couple weeks.
Finally found a Bone Piranha Plant at Target. They also had a Blooper and 4" Villager that I am considering.
Double post, but I finally saw one of the Trophy Series figures, Ganondorf. I'm not a huge fan of the Prototype Series concept from what I've seen in pics, but I think these trophy ones work really well. Especially for the 2.5" ones, since their lack of articulation helps them look more like statues.
Still haven't managed to get Gravity Suit Samus. Does anyone know if Jakks will be making the other suits as well, such as Light, Dark, etc?
So Jakks included a Metroid in the newest "Walmart checkout lane" wave of figures. Oddly enough, though, is that the dome is a hard plastic on this release. Probably something to do with the open style of packaging.
I'll have to take a look. I haven't seen any there, recently. My TRU has a big build up of the 2.5 inch. Please mark them down to a price that people are willing to pay. It's better for us, it's better for you. Thanks.
Some Walmarts have 2.5" figures by the registers. They're usually a slightly different assortment to the usual 2.5" figures, and they're in different packaging. Some Gamestops carry them too.
Interesting. I never knew Walmart had toys by the registers. My Gamestop doesn't carry the Jakks stuff at all.
