I look forward to Steve Jobs's announcing that it's necessary to 'protect' iPhone users so they can get 'the full experience' of owning an iPhone

....and some people actually believing him.

I jailbroke my iPod Touch the week I got it. Really only use it for the complete custom themes. Mine currently looks like it's running the HTC Droid Incredible OS.

Bummer. That's one of the reasons I had thought of Jailbreaking. I wanted Phantasy Star 4, and Ryger (NES) on my phone, wherever I went.

Do you guys think it's to risky to jailbreak my Iphone 4?

It depends on the OS, the DEv hasn't upgraded some of the emulators for ios 4 so some run better than others. On my iphone 3 the only one that had sound issues was the GBA emulators, but that was only on some games. But 2 OS's back they all ran perfectly.

    Wow!
I never even questioned the legality of it.
I certainly realized you were voiding the warranty and such, but it never occurred to me it was illegal.

I'd give it another month for more people to experiment with it.

Yeah same here. I knew it would void any kind of warranty, but I wondered why, when I brought it up to my friend (who was explaining how to do it) he seemed kinda secretive about the whole thing. I thought it was kinda silly that he was acting all SUPER-SECRET about it. Now I know why, lol.

I know that it is only semi-related, but I jail broke my Ipad a couple weeks ago. Sadly, it suffered from some stability issues so I restored it. I'll likely try it again soon though.
