Hope people don't take this the wrong way, but this is a good death.

No one lives forever. Jack got to live long, did what he loved, and made a lot of people happy. He seems to have kept his health and his mind for most of that time.

This is not a tragedy like Steve Irwin. This is an appropriate ending, and an opportunity to remember and to celebrate a good man who milked life for what it was worth.

    Too true.

When the time comes, it comes and aside from now being gone, I am sure his loved ones are at peace with it...

    Good man...

    RIP Jack

Jack Palance reminds me of my grandpa, he was a Marine in WWII. Up until right before he died, I was convinced my grandfather could kick my ass. He had what I called "Old Man Strength"

Like the guy that shoved a bible in Buzz Aldrin's face and told him to swear he went to the moon. Buzz cold-cocked the guy and Aldrin was 72 when this happened. You just don't mess with someone like that.

This sucks. Jack was cool as hell. I do completely agree with Misterd though. It was a good death. Surrounded by his family and he had a long life, a lot to be proud of.
