    Yeah, see, jack-jack is a fictional character with superpowers, and this kid has an excruciating condition that dramatically affects his chances at living a normal, healthy life.

    Poor kid.

    poor kid. is there a cure for this? never heard of it but it sounds horrible

    It's an extremely rare disease, meaning it hasn't received much study, and being a genetic disorder, it's not really something you can "cure". The article mentions the family moving to Brussels where the only experts are, and it appears the treatment methods are laser-based, probably focused on breaking up the lesions as they form, especially on the kid's circulatory system. The article makes it sound like this could give the poor guy a chance at a normal life, if they keep it up for the next couple years. I'm not sure if that'll halt the disorder, or if he'll struggle with it the rest of his life, but maybe they're applying a form of gene therapy on top?

    My moms friend has this. Its an odd disease to witness happen to an adult much less a baby. She can barely use her hands anymore because of how bad its gotten. I feel terrible for this baby :(
