......I am so confused by this article.

I have no idea what Micronauts are, but the article mentions that one of the lines was called Diacone, which from what I know were differently colored versions of G1 toys. Did some of the G1 Transformers figures come from this series or something?

Basically this article made me realize I have no idea what Diaclone even is but I've seen it mentioned around here so many times.

He should make Cloverfield 2 instead, but this might be cool.

Yes many of the original transformerscame with little micro diaclone men to drive them. This is why many characters have open seats and the dinobots have hidden seats.

and why G1 Ironhide and Ratchet had no heads but seriously this film if made could struggle a bit in the US as it has nearly 30 years since it was on store shelves

Could make it one of them CG films to help relaunch the line, maybe even have a cartoon spin off on Hasbro's new TV channel.

I don't really have much interest in Micronauts, never really got into the toys. But if they can do something with an old line then that's cool.

That's funny, I was going through my old stuff a couple of weekends ago, and I found all of my Micronaut toys (Pre Diaclone). A lot of them are still complete.
I never knew until I joined this site, that my first favorite toy line(not counting legos) actually grew into my biggest collection obsession.

Jj Abrams should really direct TF, with Chris Nolan writing, Zack Synder in charge with visuals, Bay for the Boom effects, and let Quentin Tarantino promote it....the greatest movie ever... And oh put Spielberg name on it.....
