So, Mass Effect 2 was quietly anounced in EA's earnings (or lack thereof) conference call.

I'm not sure if its going to be on the PS3 or not, but if they were smart, they would get it into the hands of as many players as possible.

Also, Windcharger would have to finish it this time.
No excuse of "I think its going to red ring my PS3". :lolol

Nothing, not even Red Rings stopped me from playing that game. Being a scatterbrain and somewhat ADD, that's another story. Like Twist and Shadow of Colossus, I get distracted by other games, but Mass Effect still stands as one of my favorite RPGs.

I still fear RROD. That's no lie.

But that game should be played by everyone. And I do mean everyone. I'd even love to have a PSP/DS alternate game in the vein of Starflight for the Sega Genesis.

edit: My PS3 Blue Lines of Death.

If Mass Effect goes on PS3 all that means in that I'll see Windcharger less on XBL. :)

You already see me less on XBL. I'm scared of my avatar. Seriously, he looks like Evil Spock.

As I understand it, they announced it as multiplatform, but never confirmed which platforms. The first was technically multiplatform, as it was on the Xbox and 360.

Seriously, they would be stupid not to put it on the PS3 this time.

And Windcharger, you have to play this game until the end.
It's so awesome when Shepard finds out that Darth Vader is actually his father!

Are you serious? That would make Darth Vader a Pimp. And did you know that my Shepard is a woman? I modeled her after Alis from the Phantasy Star series. Alis Shepard. It made for some interesting "scenes".

She looks like the female bad guy in Superman 2. Games like ME is what I'm still into video games for.

    RAAAAAGING ERECTION!

Can't wait to send one of my many Captain Sheppards back into space to kick some ass. I hope I can carry over weapons, levels and choices made!

I just read this on TeamXbox and I'm pumped to say the least. ME is by far my favorite game on 360 and with it being multiplatform makes it interesting now. I hate choosing between my 360 and PS3. I haven't played in a long time now but I refuse to ever get rid of this game.

As long as it's still Bioware, I'm in. Mass Effect was one the the best games of the last decade, let alone one of the best Bioware games to date. I've only played through twice. Need to give it a go again when I have some spare time.

I am a sucker though. Slap "Bioware" on anything and I'll buy it :lol

*is still (to coin TT's phrase) "Mass Erect" every day waiting for more SW: TOR info as well*

It was and still is the reason I own a 360. If you don't believe me, you are welcome to come and visit (we can go have a beer and talk Transformers). Mass Effect sits along some old Xbox games as the only 360 game I still own. Others have come and gone. Halo 3, and Halo 3, and Bioshock (3 times.. I gave up wanting to like this game after the 3rd), but Mass Effect will remain in my Library.

Was kinda hoping they'd fill out some of those empty planets first in the first game.
Or add a building simulator like Civilizations to them.
    Ah well, sold it anyway

    Bring on ME2!

I found Mass Effect to be remarkably dull. Most RPGs of this type I feel compelled to play through again after completing it the first time, but when I restarted and got to the Citadel, I gave up.

I did like the system exploration and planetary missions, though, mainly because of my interest in astronomy.
