    (as in plot-hole).

    Hi guys,

I'm watching the 07 movie right now and just noticed something. After Bumblebee scanned the new Camero, he's supposed to be clean and brand new. However, when he transform into his robot mode, he has tears and wears and dirts (check the house scene). It seems like they only used one robot mode render in the whole movie..

    :)

EDIT: oh danm, even worse. After Bumblebee got captured and tied up in Sector 7, he suddently becomes clean and no dirt :p

Yep, it's to show the prostine shinyness of the C Camaro, and to put realism into Bumblebee's robot mode.

Maybe S7 took some time to buff and polish him before torturing him.

    - This has been noticed many times

    - There's no such thing as a "one robot render". The 3D model of all the robots were purposely textured and shaded to look dirty and damaged to give a more realistic appearance.

    - Yes, the scene where Bee gets captured could have been better intergrated, but the life-sized Bee prop was painted shiny and fairly new looking.

Okai, so shiny bumblebee = real model, and dirty bee = cgi.

    Thanks,

this is definelty not new, i first noticed um... two years ago when the film came out. When they're dirty with scrathes and what not they look more realistic, contrasts work better and light refractions are more realistic.

Technically these aren't plot holes - these are technical gaffes that have nothing whatsoever to do with the plot.

The evaporation of Barricade and the dew bot and the sudden collective amnesia of everyone who witnessed the final battle? THOSE are plot holes.

    Yup.
The movie shows us that G1 wasn't the only Transformers show with animation errors.

there is no plot hole, no cgi hole, no gaffe.

very simply, bumblebee's alt mode serves as an advertisement for the new camaro, and GM wouldn't want a damaged scratched up car in their advert.

Then show clean cars from the start and damaged ones at the end.
There can't be shiny cars in the finale of the movie transforming into battle damaged robots.
BTW how could BB possibly get rid of all the dirt and change into a new camaro?
I thought magic was just in the Harry Potter franchise...
