I haven't watched G1 and I just finished part 3 of more than meets the eye and have you ever heard the saying "it's the masterpiece way"? Well apparently it's not so because one of those "masterpiece ways" is to include accessories for literally EVERY gadget they use and in the scene where mirrage is on the decepticon cruiser you actually see skywarp swapping out his fists (as they did in G1) for a fire extinguisher so they might want to consider doing a rerelease of MP skywarp LOL

Not to be rude, but what exactly is the point of this thread? They throw in extras for MP's yes. If they missed something it probably had been thought of but not really considered worth throwing in. There's 3rd Party addon kits to the MP's, maybe you should take this up on the third party forum to see if a company will create one for Skywarp, or better yet just try and source your own extinguisher.

It's pretty much a given that not every accessory or ability will be represented in Masterpiece toys (or other super-pricey collector grade toys from other franchises). There's only so much budget to go around. Be thankful for what you do get.

 

It's never been part of the remit of the MP line to include ever object, accessory, weapon or control panel each character has touched, stood near or looked at. Where did you get this "it's the masterpiece way" idea from exactly?

How dare Takara omit such obscure details about characters for the sake of meeting budget concerns. I'm still waiting on my blue eye pieces for Starscream because there was that one scene, for exactly two frames that he appeared with blue eyes instead of red.

Exactly. Why should Takara include an accessory that showed up for one 5 second scene and is never heard from again? Also, it's kind of like saying that Masterpiece Prime is inaccurate because you can't remove his mouth plate like he had in one scene due to an animation error. Due to various constraints, Takara has to decide which extras to include, and so they include the most iconic ones, like something that is used in a recurring manner, or in a pivotal scene. Thus, some of the more obscure ones fall by the wayside.
