Same here. And have my fan running all through Winter. I'd rather be cold and able to cover up if need be than be hot and only able to do so much to keep myself cool. And darker evenings are great too. Really not a sun person. And I can lurk in the darkness. Like Batman.
time to stock up on weapons, ammo and food supplies for the annual doomsday scenario? aw crap. i hate the dark. it just makes it easier fot people to hide. and i thought DST already past. guess i was wrong.
I like the Dark Nights, just means it's getting closer to Xmas. I love it when your inside nice and warm and it's rainy, cold and dark outside lol
These similarities are eiriie. Anyone else love that feeling of being freezing cold and trying to catch what heat you can from your covers at night?
I love it, I get to dress as a homoerotic "vampire" and gain the sympathy of teen girls with low self esteems.
then i guess you like that song: well, the weather outside is frightful and the fire is so delightful and since we've no place to go let it snow, let it snow, let it snow well, i guess i will be hunting more then just deer this fall. ill think ill dress as Van Hellsing next week.
The only thing worse than the sodding flu waking you up at 6 in the morning is realising that it's 5 in the morning.
That's me. In the bedroom I used to have before my current luxurious larger one (at the moment filled with boxes - I know there's a carpet under there somewhere) my bed was right under a window I'd keep open and the cold air would travel down the curtain and right onto me. And one night it snowed and it was just utter chilling glorious. I have my own goddamned cape. And criminal record for having my own goddamned cape. Although maybe it wasn't for the cape but for a lack of any other clothing at the time.
wasn't the last few years always getting early (for the beginning of year change) and later (for the end of the year change) or something like that. at least with this years one, the kids who go out on Halloween have a extra hour to sleep before they go back to school the next day.
you'll be getting girls out of pity, you shuold get girls out of lust. therefore, block I must. i was looking at my calender and i failed to notice that it had the DST marked down.
Can't say I've ever thought about it like that but I suppose if a person likes something enough... *goes off to strap frozen full ice cube trays to my knackers* Although the enjoyment mentioned in my post above comes mainly from being able to wrap myself in my duvet and warm up the cocoon until I'm comfy. Aaaaaaanyway, back to sorta on topic, my dog is still confused because of the time change. She always has her lunch at 1pm so she can't understand why when it comes to the time her internal clock is telling her is lunchtime she's not getting fed until an hour later. She really likes her afternoon routine and this happens every time the clocks change. I'll feed her at 12.30pm for the next few days and then at 12.45pm for a few days after that, and then back to 1pm. Strangely she's not bothered about her times for breakfast and evening food.
