Ooh. 25% this time, eh? Unfortunately, most of the stuff I'd order won't be released until after the sale ends, and it usually doesn't apply for preorders. Might use it for WALL-E and some gifts, though.

Wish I'd waited on ordering the B:TAS complete set from Amazon, but at least I had a gift certificate.

Shouldn't this thread go in Movies & TV?

Yeah, I just happy the new Doctor Who sets comes out on the 18th otherwise I'd have nothing to order this time around.

At least nothing to order for myself...

There's a few things I wouldn't mind picking up for myself and as Christmas presents, but my last experience ordering from them wasn't very good (took forever to ship out my TFTM07 Score Soundtrack, despite it supposedly being in stock) and some of the consumer review sites I've checked aren't giving them favorable reviews. However...the discounts on the last two Avatar sets are tempting, so I might make a small 'test order' in the next few days and see how that goes before spending much money.

They're probably not the best shipping/service wise... but not horrible.

Just placed an order for the Summerslam anthology and the complete Newsradio series... coming out to an average of $4.50 per disc is incredible! Even if Summerslam is out of stock and will ship later... heck that's a bit of a relief actually that I don't have to go through all those discs for scratches/defects within a month for a possible return.

The only DeepDiscount order mishap I've experienced is when they mistakenly put an extra DVD in my order. (A special edition of one of the Halloween movies, IIRC.) They didn't charge me for it, though. :peoples:

Everything else has been aces, and I've probably ordered >$1500-worth of stuff from them over the past 6-7 years.

Actually, not this time, you didn't:

Neat-o. No reason not to wait until 11/18, so I can get Wall-E and a whole bunch of other Blu-Ray, right?
