If a note comes out saying the 2005 sets are sold out, I'm gonna REALLY be scared. :)

Again... good for Fun Publications! Hope they put on one hell of a show.

So, is it that the demand was actually this high for the sets or was the estimation of the demand that low that they were under produced? Or does it lie somewhere in the middle?

Lame...I never got the confirmation email. I'm not too happy at the idea of getting the 2005 set. :(

Congrats for FP. I'm sure Brian and the crew must be tickled pink, and slightly afraid of how many people there are that might be showing up.

Is this the email that I needed to confirm me getting the Shattered glass set?

I think it is good they are making an effort, and they are dealing with an unpredictable business market. They really have no way to judge the success or failure before the convention but it does appear that things are 'better than expected' which is a good place for FP to be.

We may see them change the way sets are released or possibly *MORE* exclusive figures. Maybe a CLUB set for online club members and then an ATTENDING set where people gotta physically be there for it and having them be different.

    Who knows?

Smart move to offer the 2005 toy sets. Gives people another option if they want to come to the show.

Curious to see the attendee-only figure when it's revealed tomorrow.

So if they have a lot of the attendee-only bonus figure left, does that mean that a large number of people ordered the non-attending box set or that a lot of people purchased multiple box sets? I can't remember if the attendee-only bonus is one per person, or one per set.

Whatever the case, good news for FP and for future shows.

If you signed up for membership while registering for botcon, when do you get your membership confirmation?

Depending on the free toy, I may bite on this. I would like to have an Ironhide figure. Not worth the price for just him, but at this reduced price and the freebie, it may be worth it. Depending on the freebie that is.

Who knows. It's been two weeks for me and I haven't heard a damn thing. Other than my credit card taking the hit.

I would have been ecstatic if they were offering the 2006 or 2007 set, but I never liked the 2005 set.

Sorry, the 2005 Boxset isn't going to draw me out to the convention. Not even for the freebie figure. I already have it. But I wouldn't mind a day in the dealer room.

I'm inclined to think the non-attending packages are in higher numbers this year. Why else would they be offering the new "Energon" package. There has to be plenty of extra room so far for the Casino night. I base this from the 2006 Casino night, which was pretty packed.

I never got the confirmation email, but I was charged full price ($285) on the 19th, so I don't know where I stand right now.

I guess I have the Shattered Glass set ordered, but the lack of confirmation worries me a lot. Hopefully I do have the SG set, because I don't want the 2005 set since I already have it.

They are not that hard to get ahold of. Give them a call.

And the 2005 set is all they got. 2006 and 2007 sold out. It is a nice effort, they really don't have to do anything. And those Ironhide and Outback Figures is really nice for people collecting Classics.

I also had my credit card charged and have not received a confirmation email since the original email that confirmed that my fax had been received.

I'm hoping that I'm in good shape as I would also rather have the 2008 set than the 2005 set. Now...if I could get a 2006 set...:D

lmao, though I really dont think much of this years set replacing it with the junk from 2005 is a big kick in the crotch, a $15 discount on the shelfwarmers they have had hanging around for 3 years is comical.
