The rumor's been going around for months now, but the BBC has finally confirmed it.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it, even if it's only five minutes like the Children In Need special that followed series 1 of the new show.

If they are smart they'll make it at least 30 minutes, A lot of people who may have been turned off by the new show may see this picture and take the time to watch it. I'm not a brit so I am not sure but this could be one of those big cultural events due to people remembering the old doctor who and seeing Davison gear up again and tune in out of pure curiosity. So 30 minutes I'd hope would be the minimum, I'd like a proper episode but I'm a realist your probably right and its only gonna be 5 minutes.

Never the less 2 of my fave doctors on screen, I'm digging this

I've never seen the Peter Davidson episodes, but they do have the best version of the theme song IMO.

Look forward to it, hell I look forward to anything Doctor Who.

That'll be neat to see. I admit that I haven't been able to watch any of the Peter Davison episodes, but cool nonetheless.

Purely AWESOME. Tom Baker and Peter Davison were my favorite Doctors when watching the original run as a kid. I don't care that Davison is obviously way older than what he was to make it believable, it's still awesome nonetheless.

I've heard the rumors on this, and I'm delighted to see it confirmed.

Man, Moffat's episodes have been a lot of my favorites of the new series, too. So him writing this meeting should be spectacular...

Awesome. Moffat is one of the best writers they have.
Peter Davidson and David Tennant in the same episode. Sucks its only 5 minutes long. Oh well.

I will be watching, for certain.

The fact that it is the first Multi-Doctor story for the new series alone will draw a mas audience.

Peter Davison is my favourite Doctor as well and have really enjoyed his return to the role in the Big Finish Audio adventures.

Maybe there will be so much feedback from this short that they will have Peter come back for a full episode in the future.

Ironically, one of the two classic "Who" stroies I've seen is "The Five Doctors," which took place during Davidson's tenure. Between that, seeing various clips on YouTube, and the nostalgia of watching "All Creatures Great and Small" with my Gramma, he's probably my favorite of the classic Doctors.

So getting to see him teamed up with who I think is probably the Best Docotor Ever, I think this is going to be great fun. Can't wait to see it.

Awsome! To bad it's not a full regular episode. Maybe if this goes over well we'll see Peter again or maybe even Paul McGann.

Some of my earliest memories involve watching Davison-era DW eps before TFs became a lifelong love. :D  And Steven Moffatt has written the best recent eps, good to see he's on board. :)

Personally, I'd love to see McCoy again (who, by the way, is the person who first started the rumor of Davison's return). McCoy was my first Doctor and probably my favorite until Tennant stole that title. Seeing the two of them together would be amazing - not to mention really, really scary as they're probably the two most ruthless of all the Doctors.

Davison was never my favorite, although I really liked his era of the show. There was a new sense of life and excitement that came after Tom Baker finally stepped down. Plus Davison's little "Tardis family" still stands as one of my favorite companion groupings ever (especially once Turlough came aboard). It's going to be really interesting to see the calm and fairly passive Fifth Doctor meet up with the manic Tenth Doctor. I really can't wait for this.

I always loved the 'multiple Doctor' stories, so count me in for this one. Hopefully, as others have mentioned, this means we can have a full blown ep later. To bad so many of the previous actors are no longer with us.

Or immensely fat, as in Colin Baker's case.

Is Tom Baker still alive? because he's the only Doctor I want to see again.

Peter Davison is the Doctor I grew up watching on TV. I have vague recollections of Tom Baker, but I do distinctly remember his regeneration into Davison.

Then Davison regenerated into the Doctor who wore a clown suit...

Yeah. The only ones who are dead are William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, and Jon Pertwee (Doctors 1, 2, and 3, respectively). Hartnell's stand-in from The Five Doctors is also dead.
