Went to Target today to look for new stuff. One of the employees was putting fake snowflakes on the doors & a banner that said "Merry Christmas."

They're not even waiting for Halloween to end, they just shoved all the "Festive Holiday" crap right next to it. And the sound system is already playing carols. In fucking OCTOBER.

This is nothing new. They've been putting out Christmas stuff in stores just days before Halloween. It kind of annoys me, as I don't normally worry about getting Christmas decorations out until at least after Thanksgiving and no later than the first week of December. But hey, they're just going to put Christmas stuff out as early as they can for whatever reasons they have in doing so.

I saw Christmas decorations in a Macy's in late September once, which was the earliest I've ever seen.

It's really nothing new though. Stores want to hype the Holiday season, with decorations, sales, and black friday.

Think about it, which holiday will bring stores the most revenue? That's why.

I refuse to get involved in the stock market due to a high risk of ending up in a gorilla suit and trapped in a gorilla cage.... with a horny gorilla.
