It is a possible fiery death for millions of people. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20427730/?GT1=10357 Essentially a B52 Bomber flew over a few US cities with 6 nuclear war heads on board... SMRT.
How about that...no harm no foul I guess, but I'm more concerned with the enormous waste of money that is be had investigating what seems to be simple human error.
Is it really that big of a deal? Those things are designed to only go off if they're told to. The can survive the plane crash and the fire without danger of going off..
This simple error could have been the most catastrophic event in the history of your country...I would want some answers too. Also D_c would be dead…and the old people love him.
I highly doubt it cause as BigPrime already said, even if the plane had crashed the nuke wouldn't have gone off. They're made to withstand a hell of alot damage, and need activation codes so a little crash and burn won't set them off. Besides, you could be living next to a nuke missile silo, and not even know it. Human error is human error so there probably isn't that much to investigate, but knowing our government they'll turn this into a witchhunt, form all kinds of committees, and generally waste time. All that potential time while they could be doing something useful like rebuilding New Orleans.
Hey now ... you can't expect people to actually READ past the first paragraph. After all, if they did, then everyone here would know this story isn't really about any potential danger, as there was none, but rather an error in procedure. But that's not entertaining enough, I suppose.
It doesn't matter what the risk actually was. THEY WERE GODDAMN NUKES. Any margin of error is too high.
I'd like to have a nuclear missle silo in my backyard. You can bet no one would give you shit if they knew you could freakin nuke 'em.
If you let them know that you're crazy enough to kill youself just to take them with you they still won't give you any problems.
...No. You win this round, SC, but I'll be back! *Runs off and escapes in an escape pod, rocketing to an unknown location*
