Holy snap it's cold. It was -17 when I left for work, and now it's -18 F (-28 C). I guess we hit a record low of -25 F overnight, and a town just east of here hit -40 F.

    WTF.

Wow you guys have it bad out there! Crazy snow falls and deathly cold temperatures. I'm so glad I didn't head out there with Ang for Christmas. She arrived the day right before the snow storm hit and left the day before the second storm hit. She didn't even make it to the mountains and was snowed in the whole time, what a waste.

For some reason, I kept reading this thread title as "It's F-18 right now." Perhaps Jux is now messing around with the cool tech within the Navy Hornet?

You'd hate it here in Winnipeg then a.k.a. Winterpeg

Because right now it's -30 C, -40 C if you count in the Windchill factor. Which is pretty much normal over here in these parts

I read my own title as "It's F-18 right now" and I thought "when the hell did I post a thread about the F-18?" And then I thought maybe it was about a model I saw at a hobby shop the other day in town, they had this really nice Super Hornet on display.

I think cold weather is a health and safety hazard and should be computer-generated. F-18s are cool though.

I don't think I've ever experienced below 0 weather before. I lived in Alaska for a while, but I was gone before it ever got too cold. The coldest I ever remember it being where I live now is like 11 or 12 F. Sorry to you guys not having too much fun with the winter :(

Right now it is 6 F in the St. Cloud area. It is supposed to get into the -15 to -25 range over the next few nights with windchills down to -40.

Thank goodness for block heaters for cars.

March, when it starts hitting 35-40 every day, is when I first break out the shorts.

    -18!?!

Holy moly, thats pretty much a freezer room... but outside!

How long would a cup of water a room temperature take to freeze over? Could you drop a cup of boiling water off a tall building and have a block of ice hit the ground?

Damn... how long is this cold weather predicted for?

    It's 9:20 AM and it's currently 30 degrees Celsius here (86 F) and it's supposed to reach 40 Celsius (104 F) during the day.

    Talk about CRAZY differences.

My buddy is in Miami for the Super Bowl, and he just sent me a photo of him leaning on a palm tree on a bright, sunny beach.

    That son of a bitch.
