if you look at the only pic of him as of today, his weapon looks very close to voyager RiD optimus's weapon (as does voyager starscream's)
does this mean optimus's poweriser weapon could be the base for many more weapons yet to come?

The barrels are clearly different, but the gimmick is the same.

They're similarly styled gimmicks, but it's clear that all three are unique (aka no shared parts). Much like the Mechtech weapons Skids and Nitro Bumblebee had.

Starscreams and Prime's are functionally identical. Skyquake seems to have a very different weapon.

I have two Kotobukiya MSG chain guns. I can probably get Dreadwing to hold one of them in a "under the hand" fashion.

No matter what, these MechTech weapons suck. I have Voyager Prime, and that weapons makes me want to chuck it into the Columbia River...

What good would that do? A fish would just flip it back at you. Better off using that for a paper weight.

Looks like I need to find a good back up weapon for Dreadwing.

Pffft. I'm sure that same fish would end up being sold to an elderly couple after I catch it....

    Oh, I'm a fish racist, aren't I? :lol

Threads like this are breeding grounds for more hyperbolic "ZOMG KILL DA MEKTEK!!1" statements. The results are clear.

Those things are just horrible. How can they advertise the line as "Robots in Disguise" when they have these 12' (scaled) weapon things stacked up on their alt modes like that? How can anyone think that's a good idea? Pure garbage.

Ugh. This fetish for oversized kiddy crap weapons Hasbro has developed sucks more than anything has sucked before. It was okay when they just padded out Iron Man figures, but now paint(Prime line), articulation(Avengers toyline), and accuracy(Prime line) are being chucked out the window for these...things that nobody likes.

Hm...where have I heard most of these arguments before? Oh, right, everywhere else on the whole goddamned forum. Seriously, "NO MORE MEKTEKK!!12" threads are becoming the new Bumblebee threads.
