And Animated got me into the franchise but I didn't stop there and didn't limit myself to "I only watch Animated and refuse to watch anything else just because"

if he buys me a dvd they i have no money for buy a toy (we only buy dvds once i haev gotten all toys that were out. but still i dont wanna buy TF shows DVDs) and i do haev dvd palyer but i watch msot of my dvds on the computer

 

I said INSTEAD of getting a toy. I mean it may be one or two toys you have to wait a little longer to get, but the DVDs could entertain you until then.

Your choice. If you don't want to watch them, that's your business. Won't ruin my day. Buuuuut. . . I like my Decepticons to have personalities, so I like the shows.  

 

There's a huge difference between not watching the shows because you don't like them and not watching the shows because you're too big a fan of one version of the franchise to give another aspect a chance.

You not watching the shows has about as much impact on me and my life as me not brushing my teeth every night does on you and your life. I don't understand why you won't watch any of the shows, though. Do you have an actual reason? Like, wanting to stay up-to-date and accurate in Bayverse and not get confused between verses, or because the characters might be represented differently than you're used to (or not exist at all?)

Why is it so important to you to make sure people realize you don't watch the shows? It seems you've brought it up to countless people on here, and considering how randomly you brought it up to me, I can only assume that information was randomly spewed to them, too. I don't understand why you seem so proud of willingly cutting yourself off. You almost seem to boast about it, and that and what you do is your decision--so why are you making it so public? You do realize the more you go on about it, the more "omgz you should watch dis!!!!" you get, right? It's one big giant circle. Stop thrusting the fact that you don't watch the shows at people, and people will leave you alone about it.

You don't *have* to see them, but I'd recommend at least seeing G1 (because it was the original, and because it is frequently referenced in other TF works), Beast Wars (because it is extremely awesome), and Animated (because it is also extremely awesome). Also, see them in that order.

 

Well then I can't call you a true TF fan if you didn't see anything but Bayformers..... Your are missing out a bit too much...

The one thing i dont understand is WHY you DONT watch them? :S You dont even give them a try and you never gave me a reason like..i dont know "poor animation", "poor script", "i dont like new factions", anything. :S At least try and then quit watching if you dont like but at least try. :S
