Dunno if this is the right place to put this thread but here goes.
I just got D.S. Starscream today and while looking him over I noticed that the tail fins are the same piece. What I would like to know is, is there any way for me to get a replacement for the missing fin or do I have to return Starscream and get another?

    EDIT:
Update: I went back and got an exchange, making sure none of the others were affected the same way. I popped it open on the way home to make sure there was nothing wrong with this new one and discovered its left foot was very loose, as in floppy as a fish.:banghead:  But I looked up how to solve that and I'm very happy with this figure. I'd like to thank everyone for their advice on what I should do.:thumb

Maybe email Hasbro or return it

It will be easier just to exchange it at the store.

i agree with tamo526, just exchange it because i know i kind of scratched mine when i first transformed it (because i wasn't familiar with the mold) and i wish i had an issue that i could exchange mine and i doubt the one you have is perfect. it's the perfect opportunity to try again.

its also the cheapest and easiest way to go about it... haha

Mine had worse problems. It's legs would not stay on at all, which made him impossible to pose and neigh impossible to transform. Also some piece of something in the wing assembly was too big and the wing would not stay pinned down in jet mode. I returned mine, but I didn't feel the need to get another.

I had the same problem when I bought my first Deep Space Starscream. When they assembled the figure someone gave DP SC two left tailfins. I eventually returned it for another figure, it actually took me a while to find one, because there were a few other figures that had the same problem.

IIRC, when it comes to Store Exclusives, Hasbro's policy is "Go talk to the store you got it from."

The DS Starscream is hard to get where I live. I'm hoping to get one
tomorrow. I hope there won't be any problems with it.

I didn't even open the one I bought. Now I guess I should double check it before the toy disappears from Target. =\

The same thing happened to me. There was a ton of Deep Space Starscreams on the shelf and I had to pick the one figure with two of the same tailfin. I took it back to the store and they had no problems with me exchanging it for another. It's defective merchandise.
If they're sold out when you go back, you can even have customer service call other stores to track one down for you.

I finally order one. I don't know if it will have the same two tail fins, but
I will check it. It said I should receive it Saturday. There is plenty of them
on Ebay, but collectors keep bidding on them.

The first one I got had legs that wouldn't stay on. I took it back and searched for one that didn't have detached legs in the package. That was the only defect on mine. Shame that a store exclusive has so many problems.

If there is alot of defects on these "Target Exclusive" Deep Space
Starscream toys, I would think that Hasbro would do something to
    correct the problem.
