I hope so.
I hope NOT. My finances will still be recovering from BotCon at that time, so I wouldn't be able to justify buying that!
that'd be cool...October's my birthday.
Sounds good to me. I'll take it whenever it comes out.
Im not buying at launch anyway
Me wanty NOW
I'll get it whenever it comes out...as long as I can get my grubby mitts on one!
Bring it on, Wii for me!
The question becomes whether I will have the money then. It's my birthday in October, so It all depends on how much money I get for that.
I was suspecting an early release from the beginning. I won't be at all surprised at an October launch, or especially surprised at a late September launch, but I'm still not going to get my hopes up for anything before November.
It does not matter for me as if and when I get one it will be well after launch. After Christmas at the earliest I would say, as for the other 2, no. Just no.
I kinda like it better when it's launched at Christmastime. That way I won't have to save money for it. But if it's going to be released in October...I should either start selling a crapload of stuff or start saving.
Found this link through Joystiq or Kotaku or something.
A site that keeps checking when preorders go up, kinda neat if you are interested in preordering:
If you're planning to wait until after launch to get one, why would you say an earlier launch date doesn't matter? Early launch date -> earlier launch wave -> earlier second wave -> getting your Wii on earlier
Seems like it aint happening:
But I want Wii NOW!!
Well, whether it comes out early or not it's good to know that Nintendo is allegedly already producing consoles. Hopefully that means there won't be as much of a shortage as there was with the 360 (which there shouldn't be anyway, considering that the Wii should be easier to produce than the 360).
The main console, yes. We don't know how hard or easy it is to make those controllers.
Well, let's just hope that the Wii actually has a cooling system unlike the 360.
