So I've been thinking about how back during Allspark Power the Salvage figure was such a bad shelfwarmer that they can still be found at Walgreens (At my local one anyway), so is it possible since Walgreens never puts shelfwarmers on clearance (hell, they RAISE the prices) that we could still see them around by 2012?

If there is some place that doesn't clearance off the figure I think the question should be will he still be around by 2013?

The Twins just didn't turn out as popular as Hasbro had hoped for and there are few people who seem to be on the fence about them so just about all the people interested in the figures have them already. Unless the third movie does something to radically change opinions about the Twins I don't see many more of them moving at full price.

Eh, Salvage isn't a pegwarmer as far as I'm concerned, he barely made it to store shelves here.

Also keep in mind how horrific the paint and color scheme is for tuner flap.

I saw a Beast Wars Injector recently at a CVS in Florida, so anything is possible with shelf/pegwarmers.

Now THAT is a shelfwarmer :lol .

While Salvage may have pegwarmed in some places, there were also places where he was scarce (I only saw him once myself), while Tuner Mudflap pegwarmed everywhere (kinda like Injector).

Let us not forget that Tuner Skids is on his way along with another repaint of Mudflap.

Yeah, Salvage wasn't a shelfwarmer in my area. They were some and all were gone.

The first movie's peg/shelfwarmer was Payload.

Speaking of that, my friend's step-dad (mind you, not the smartest) thinks a MISB Payload is going to be worth ALOT in the future.

Wasn't Mudflap the first movie's ultimate shelfwarmer? (there's some irony to that)

I thought Salvage was a cool figure.

He certainly did outstay his dubious welcome.

He was the last 07 movie TF to be sold at my local TRU anyway. And they had 2 of him left!

I like how this thread appears at almost the same time as the one titled "What the hell happened to Tuner Mudflap?"

Your mileage may vary. But overall I think it's safe to say Tuner Mudflap is one of the more epic pegwarmers from any Hasbro action figure line in quite a while. I actually prefer the gold and blue used on it to the first Deluxe's colors, but I could do without the lightning bolt.
