So was asking bc this is only sold by retailers online like 3P's are but Toy Alliance has the right to use characters but Hasbro/Takara is not associated with them.

I ordered the Optimus Prime and now there is a Megatron coming out in 1/12 scale bc that's how big they would be next to 6" figures (and in real life 18 feet tall to a 6 foot human).

Mega scale for the robots: It is rounded out by the OP & Megs who are 18" tall. There are G1 autobots and decepticons that are smaller than them of coarse. But the Dinobots like Grimlock would have to be 21-23" Tall and a Ultra Magnus 20" even in Mega scale. Skyfire 25-30 inches tall. Combiners 45" tall and finally Omega Supreme 50" tall.

Also I really want them to make already built MODEL VEHICLES based on the Transformers in their alt-modes.
For instance: RATCHET as a van and the back door can open with a gurney that can fit 6-7 inch action figures from Marvel to wwe elite wrestling.

Cars would be 1/12 scale with open doors for 6" drivers. And for Triple changers like Astrotrain needs a toy for every mode (space ship) & with the classic purple giant train being able to carry figures inside.

Here is the tricky one. For combiners just have the vehicles/alt modes connect to form the gestalt so only 1 transformation required to combine mode then connect them.
The individual combiner Robots themselves can be sold in Mega packages at level with the OP and Megs at 18".

I am not a fan of transforming at all except for the G1 vintage as those are fun.

So Toy Alliance is a refreshing brand with a all new Mega scale for large bot lovers like me but of coarse I am keeping some MP's that mostly don't look too small next to the oversized MP's like MPP10 etc.
But there is a collection to be had with these Toy Alliance Mega transformers especially if your favorite size of action figure is the 6 inch scale.

I'm waiting for an Autoarts Optimus Prime over the Dickies one. And I'm trying not to support movie Transformers.

Ya one reason is cause it's time consuming but I did say I still like transforming the G1 vintage. The easiest MP are the seekers to transform of the larger bots.
These are great quality with all working parts and lights with the articulation.

Now do or anybody have the Optimus Prime? The Megatron due out in November.

If you guys bought the Mega Optimus Prime please share your thoughts about this line.
Where do I finds threads for this as it's a 2nd not 3rd party?

These are not movies and there is a mega Hasbro but that has nothing to do with Toys Alliance. These are all G1 80's look only.

1st Party: Hasbro/TakaraTomy, owners of the franchise
2nd Party: us, buyers of the products
3rd Party: Entity unrelated to the 1st Party creating products for the franchise

The distinction you're likely looking for the Licensed 3rd Party vs Unlicensed 3rd Party
Licensed 3rd Party: Companies like Toy Alliance, Hot Toys, 3A, etc.
Unlicensed or Unofficial 3rd Party: Fans Toys, Mastermind Creations, TFC, etc. Essentially everything in this sub-forum.

    I hope this helps.

Yes it does. Thank you for answering my question. Licensed 3rd party is the correct terminology for Toys Alliance.

G1 fans out there. Do you like this mold best for Prime? I think it could be better than MP-10 and MP-01. I heard waist adjusting critism.

answering the question of the thread title itself.

No. it's not a 2nd party. It's a 3rd party company that Hasbro allowed to make an officially licensed Line of larger none Transforming adult collectible action figures.

Those are licensed Transformers, pretty good have to say. The thread should be in the Toy Discussion forum since they are official products.

    @Hobo Prime is on-point.

Second-party is so often used incorrectly (such as with video games).

I'm glad no one has chimed in yet to say "THEY'RE NOT THIRD-PARTY BECAUSE THEY'RE LICENSED". I do get sick of that nonsensical claim.

To be fair, they're still third-party figures, and this isn't the "unofficial third-party" sub-forum (at least, not in name), so I think it's fine.

Actually yes, this is the "unofficial third-party" sub-forum.

    Mega scale are my new MP. For the price nothing would be better for a 6 inch action figure collector or ML, Mezco, Star Wars Black once they get the character selection going. If they do the alt mode models with all the features I can pose them in front of the robots like you see on the G1 vintage boxes (;

There should be a official 3rd party section.
You have the Ulti-metal people who can afford those for 1K and they don't transform but they pretty much have gone under.
Toy Alliance is the ONE that can make that section explode bc it does not get the attention it deserves in Transformers news and rumors section where nobody discusses them.
3A doesnt do transformers. All I seen from them is Judge Dredd line but the more the merrier if they do to make this section happen on TW2005.

Toy Alliance is so sick and as a G1 purist and what made me a fan of Transformers is seeing how taller they were than the humans (my favorite size for them is 6 inch scale) making this scale perfect for me but the quality is pretty nice with the articulation.
